I would think that your power supply would handle it if you are replacing the original controller. I, again, cannot get the thing to install the driver that came with the Video Card. It loaded good and ran fine for about a day or two and then the monitor would occasionally go black. I needed a card that was PCI compatible -- as my computer (DELL Dimension 2400) does NOT support PCI-Express.
