I hear you my brother! I am currently having a similar issue with Pro Tools 11 and a 003 Rack+ - my kernel_task ramps up to over 100% and stays high even after I quit Pro I followed that with the all of the applicable plug-in installers from the Avid Plug-Ins 11 update. When I use driver 10.3.3 I can use Pro Tools like a champ and my CPU functions as it should.
I can barely play my projects without receiving the prompt "error synchronizing audio and midi check external device" Do you think manually uninstalling and reinstalling the same driver may yield better Good luck and please let us know if we can help any further. What Avid is doing now is just baffling. Digi 002 Drivers Pro Tools 8 Yes, I know Pro Tools 10 is not qualified on Mavericks and you have to manually uninstall if needed.

Is the roll back process even worth it? I never believed in USB stuff, but took the plunge with the Audient and it's USB connectors and the thing rocks. If I wasn't on the 003rack, I would probably go the Apogee route too, but I need firewire and ADAT, so sitting tight with my rack is best right now. this content Has there been any resolution on this?
