So, my question is, has anyone tried to use the Digi CoreAudio drivers (I think it's 8.0.3?) in Lion yet? Hi I have Protools 8.0.3 running Digi Mbox 2 and have no problems, although Avid write that it will not work!! I am starting to think that a new interface may be the best option for future stablity. Time to destroy that kernel task once and for all. It turns out the problem is with the AVID drivers for the 002 or 003 family. Honestly, this was the last straw with Avid for me and they can't have one more dime of my money and can go suck it. I have been trying to figure a way to run my computer's audio through my speakers that are connected to my 003. This had never worked for me up until the reinstallation - then you just use the 3/4 HP2 monitor button and the 003 is now doing the DA conversion. I'm using logic x without pro tools and was curios if the digi driver is meant to work without pro tools? I am running Lion 10.7.5.

And it seems that the only way to make it work is to restart the machine every time. If any of you have had any other experiences please let me know. Typically, all you need to do is restart the Mac, and everything should work. They make Avid look like a bunch of amateurs. Avid 003 Family Drivers Any drivers I need for that? When I tried to open the Stand-alone drivers in Lion, it said I was missing some components and opened a webpage that allowed me to download the missing components from the X only runs on Mountain Lion or above, so an upgrade was in the cards.
