After upgrading to Lion, the stand-alone Core Audio drivers from digi did not work. Digi 003 I was using outdated drivers so I deleted them, and then I downloaded the latest Core Audio drivers from Avid and installed them. It wasnt until version 10.5.3 that it started working properly. Digi 002 Pro Tools 12 I have been pleasantly surprised that, despite earlier predictions, I am able to use my aging Digi 002 and Mac Pro with the new 64-bit goodness and power of Pro Tools The volume sliders are greyed out.
I really don't know what happened but it's working fine. To install the Digidesign CoreAudio Driver: Verify your Pro Tools hardware is connected. The Digidesign CoreAudio Setup application is also installed on your hard drive in /Applications/Digidesign. Coreaudio Driver Yosemite If you are installing Pro Tools 7.4.2 for Mac OS X 10.5.3, you should use the Digidesign CoreAudio included with your Pro Tools installation, not the standalone version.

Currently I use a 003r and Pro Tools 7.4 LE for recording, but I also use my 003r for use it for iTunes an messing around in Reaper. Thanks for any help in advance! I'd like to be able to run it at 24/196, though, sometime - and I don't plan on picking up a new mac pro for a while yet, for the PCIx I hope you guys can help me with my problem. Or... Of course I plan to replace both when I am able, but for now I'm thankful for the extended life I'm getting from my existing gear.
Since then I have upgraded all of my software to the latest drivers and the good news is that when I launch GarageBand as an example, the Digi002 audio option shows All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. I dont see anything listed on Digi's website.
