This is where you choose the partition you want windows to be in. In the BIOS (my BIOS that is) I have 2 options; 1) RAID Autodetect/ATA 2)RAID ON. Toggle the RAID mode in System BIOS while installing the Operating system. Told that I need to format the hard drive but it cannot be accessed until I get the device drivers. Report Unresolved Customer Service Issues here I do not work for Dell.
Yeah the Sata is connected properly. Is is plugged into the Primary SATA port on the MB ???Check your manual some motherboards will want ths Hard drive on a particular port. I had a look around for something else you could have a look at, try this, and look at step 6 for the part about 'format or partition'.
