i do however get audio from pro tools 9 from my internal macbook pro sound card. I would assume it doesn't work - I'm running the I/O in USB mode for the moment, anyway (I record at 24/88.2 most of the time). It wasnt until version 10.5.3 that it started working properly.
The Digidesign CoreAudio driver can only work with one application at a time.
